The Sea Eagle Story
Episode 1:
Red backed Sea Eagles are very common hereabouts in Bangalore although we are miles from any Sea. Commonly known as Brahminy Kite; these birds are medium sized raptors of the family Accipitridae.
This is the story of one such family!
A Brahminy Kite couple set up home on a Cottonwood Tree close to my workplace and this provided the perfect opportunity to watch the family. What follows is a periodic update on the happenings at the Rookerie.
